Also known as raw silk in the fashion trade,
Noil silk
is very versatile silk, spun thick with a matte surface. The silk is
soft, sporty in appearance and crafted from short fibers. The silk is
made from short fibers, often from the innermost part of the cocoon,
which are left after combing and carding of silk fiber.
Noil Silk Products
Noil looks much like cotton, but has the soft feel of silk against the
skin. The fabric drapes better than cotton, resists wrinkling, and is
easy to care. Hence, it is perfect for travelling dresses.
Noil is a durable silk fabric and is less expensive. It is extensively
used for making all purpose garments including men's shirts, lightweight
pants, skirts, slacks, dresses, pillows and sheets. The softness of the
fabric also makes it suitable for making clothes for children.
Producing Regions
Noil silk products like skirts, tops, draperies, etc are produced in
large amount in
India. Beautifully designed and nicely finished
noil garments from India are exported to various countries of in various
parts of the globe.

quality noil silk and silk products.
Being an inexpensive silk fabric, the demand for noil silk is
increasing in the fashion market.
