Introduction
A silk skirt is a cone or tube-shaped apparel which falls from the waist and covers full or part of the legs. At its simplest form, a silken skirt can be a wrapped apparel made out of a single piece of material, but most silk skirts are fitted to the body at the waist and fuller below, with the fullness inserted by means of gores, pleats, dart, or panels. Silk skirts of thin or clingy fabrics are often worn with slips to make the material of the skirt clothe better and for modesty.
